United Way Charitable Donation added to Staff Service Recognition Gift Catalog

Staff members celebrating milestone service anniversaries can now commemorate their service to Yale in a way that benefits the community in lieu of receiving a traditional gift.
 
Honorees can direct the University to make a donation on their behalf by selecting “Charitable Gift to United Way of Greater New Haven” from the online Staff Service Recognition gift catalog. The United Way will ensure that the contribution goes where the resources are most needed.
 
Instructions for selecting a gift are included with the certificate of appreciation sent to the staff member’s home address at the end of the month before their milestone anniversary beginning at 10 years of service to the University.
