Human Resources Department - Recent promotions

Yale Human Resources is happy to announce promotions for several staff members. Please join us in congratulating the following individuals:
Nicholas Barone has been promoted to Recruiter, reporting to Ali D’Amico, Assistant Director, Staffing. Nick has been at Yale since 2017 and has previously worked as a candidate development specialist (CDS) and a hybrid CDS/recruiter in Staffing. In his new role, Nick will expand his recruiter portfolio and lead the CDS team.
Donna Caporale-Colon has been promoted to Associate Director of Compensation Planning. Donna has been part of the Compensation Team for five years as a senior compensation consultant and will be working closely in her new role with Susan Riggs and senior leadership. Donna will lead the design, development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures to ensure that base pay remains competitive. She will also serve as the classification and compensation consultant to HR business partners for the Yale School of Medicine (YSM). She will support the Compensation Team in job evaluation, project work, and associated analysis to ensure department goals are met.
Ashlee Ciliberti recently joined the HR Operations team as a new HR Coordinator. Ashlee has been with Yale since January 2020 as an employee relations support specialist for the YSM team. Prior to joining Yale, she worked for Verizon Wireless in a number of roles. Ashlee starts this role on Monday, September 13.
Melinda Dellert has been promoted to Assistant Director, Labor Relations. Mindy has been at Yale since 2018 and has served as a senior Labor Relations specialist assigned to the Yale School of Medicine (YSM). In her new role, Mindy will direct a Labor Relations representative assigned to the YSM and serve as the primary staff member supporting the university’s relationships with Local 34. In addition, Mindy will establish integrative practices across Best Practices and Labor Relations. She will report to both the director of Labor Relations and the associate director of Best Practices.
Rachelle Ianniello has been promoted to Employee Services Manager, reporting to Jodi McCullagh, Director of Employee Services. Rachelle has been at Yale since 2017 and has supported Human Resources (HR) Operations and Susan Riggs as the HR administrative coordinator since 2019. Rachelle will be working closely with Robin Howard in the Employee Service Center as Robin prepares for retirement on Thursday, September 30, 2021.
Julie Landino was recently promoted to Manager, Labor Team, in the Human Resources Staffing Department. Julie has been at Yale since 2005. She started her career as an administrative assistant and has progressed through a variety of roles within Staffing. Most recently, she has covered as an interim manager while also being a dedicated recruiter for both the Office of Development and the Yale Alumni Association. In her new role, Julie will have oversight of the Local 34 and Local 35 recruiters and report to Marcie Calabrese, Director of Staffing and Career Development.
Lauren Slater has been promoted to Assistant Director, Employee Relations (ER). Lauren has been at Yale since 2007. She started as Pre-Employment Screening Coordinator in (HR) and since has had several roles, including as an assistant administrator in Internal Medicine, an HR generalist supporting both central services and the academic units, and most recently as a senior HR generalist for Yale School of Medicine. In this role, Lauren will lead a team of HR generalists supporting the YSM Central Academic and Interdisciplinary Units and the Basic Sciences Departments and continue to partner with YSM leadership on various ER and HR initiatives.
