The Employee Relations team has an opening for a Human Resource Generalist 2 reporting to Maja Gill, Assistant Director Human Resources (HR) to support the Yale School of Medicine (YSM). The HR Generalist will partner with various departments in YSM to align HR objectives and initiatives to the business needs across the organization. The incumbent will provide strategic and tactical HR support to their clients, lead and help facilitate change initiatives through the use of HR consultative skills, partner with other managers to understand key business challenges and organizational needs and deliver superior customer service.
This role works in conjunction with other HR Generalists and specialized units in Human Resources and ensures that all activities are conducted in accordance with government legislation and regulations, contractual obligations and University policy. The Compensation team has an opening for a Compensation Consultant reporting to Donna Caporale-Colon, Associate Director, Compensation. This role will provide compensation and classification services to an assigned client group within the University. Duties to include analyzing and classifying non-exempt and exempt positions; preparing job descriptions and administering salaries in line with contractual agreements and University policies.
