Graduate Student Funding Process upgrade underway

Summary

In July 2022, Yale will transition to a new Graduate Student Funding (GSF) process. This new process will improve usability, enhance functionality, and streamline processes for graduate students and faculty and staff supporting graduate funding.

User Testing will occur in April and May.
ITS will provide live demos, self-paced training, and user guides. Impacted users will receive further details.
At go-live, GSPS will no longer be accessible.
Graduate students will use the GSF process starting in the Fall 2022 term.

Details

This new process will use the Student ERP system (Banner), Workday, and a data mart to record and manage stipends, tuition, one-time payments, and health fellowships from grants, endowments, central funding, and non-Yale external sources.
