Enhancements to Power BI Interactive Reports

The Interactive Reports in the Power BI report server will be pointed toward new perspectives and deployed at the prod environment of Power BI Report Server, as of January 12, 2023.

• Perspective: Sponsored Awards and Grants
  • Awards and Grants
  • FD29 Industry Clinical Trials
• Perspective: General Financial-Depts
  • Detailed Transactions Trend
  • Budget Compare and Project
  • Budget Variance Analysis
  • Labor Plan and FTE Analysis
  • Payroll Details
  • Fund Balances

In addition, there is a new report info tab in all the interactive reports. This tab includes information about latest enhancements, filters used in a report, links for training videos, and more.

As communicated previously, downloaded reports from the Power BI report server and/or reports using the following perspectives: Fund Balance, Detailed Transactions Trend, Payroll Details, Budget Variance Analysis, or Awards and Grants should be repointed toward Sponsor Awards and Grants or General Financial-Dept perspective.

Fund Balance, Detailed Transactions Trend, Payroll Details, Budget Variance Analysis or Awards, and Grants will be retired in the near future. Therefore, it is important to re-point any downloaded reports to the two new perspectives before any others are retired.
