Mass closure of inactive purchase orders

To reduce the volume of obsolete commitments and obligations, Procurement will perform a mass closure of inactive purchase orders (POs) beginning Tuesday, May 30, 2023. Criteria for the mass closure will be:

• The purchase order invoice status is fully paid; and
• The purchase order was created on or before March 31, 2022; and
• The purchase order has had no changes or invoice activity since July 13, 2022. 

If a purchase order service line with infrequent activity is closed and must be reopened, email purchasing.helpdesk@yale.edu by June 20, 2023, to reopen the PO.
