Marinda Monfilston awarded the United Way 2023 Volunteer Impact Award

June 30, 2023

On June 14, HR’s own Marinda Monfilston, Senior Diversity Coordinator, received the first United Way Volunteer Impact Award for sharing her time and talent to make the community a better place for all, for embodying the spirit of volunteerism, and being one of United Way’s most active volunteers and enthusiastic advocates.

United Way of Greater New Haven’s President and CEO, Jennifer Heath, recognized Marinda, “for her consistent presence at volunteer events, for sharing her talents as a member of Women United’s Steering Committee, and for engaging her network to bring volunteer and financial resources to create change in the community. When it comes to hands-on volunteering, Marinda has shared hundreds of hours packing and distributing groceries to families in need, reading to students, beautifying community spaces, and so much more. If there is a need, you can count on Marinda to be there! Marinda is not just a volunteer; she is a promoter of community action, an advocate for change, a loyal donor, and a knowledgeable leader. Marinda, we are grateful for your selfless service and for being a driving force to make a difference in the lives of countless families.”
