New Payroll Comparison Interactive Dashboard Report available on June 8, 2023

A new Payroll Comparison Interactive Dashboard Report will be available on the Power BI Report Server starting on June 8, 2023, to support the review of payroll expenses. This dashboard report allows users to easily identify variances between periods and review trends in payroll over time. Departments are required to review and verify the accuracy of payroll expenses monthly as part of the Financial Review Checklist (FRC). Departments will now have the option to use this Power BI dashboard report for their FRC requirement. The Power BI dashboard report utilizes visuals to make analysis easier. It was developed in collaboration with the Financial Reporting Advisory Group, which includes members from central Finance and departments, and members of the Finance Data Model User Group and Operations Working Group. This dashboard report will be included as a recommended report on a future update to the FRC.

A user-guide for the Payroll Comparison Interactive Report will be accessible from the Info tab within the report. Please view the user-guide to learn more about the features of this new dashboard report.
