Take these steps to prepare for the year ahead

June 9, 2023

As another academic year approaches, ITS managers and staff are reminded to act on the following:

  • Performance Reviews: Teams should be well underway with annual review processes, providing opportunities for substantive and meaningful discussions about how to support long-term career goals and FY24 initiatives.
  • Remote work arrangements: If you are an ITS staff member with a remote work arrangement, review it with your manager to ensure it remains effective. Confirm how you will approach several aspects of your work and career development for continued success in a remote setting. ITS does not plan to re-arbitrate eligibility through this process.

  • Conflict of Commitment: All ITS employees must review the University’s Conflict of Interest Policy for information on Conflict of Commitment. ITS employees will be asked to acknowledge the university’s expectations regarding their obligations to this policy. Specifically, full-time non-faculty employees are expected to limit activities that may interfere with the performance of their Yale duties. In most cases, external consulting or outside employment is not permissible.
