Transition from Bank of America to U.S. Bank prepaid cards

To: Faculty and staff that have a prepaid Bank of America card or use Bank of America gift cards

 

The university has contracted with U.S. Bank to replace the Bank of America card programs. This was necessitated by Bank of America exiting the card business. 

 

Bank of America notified the university that they will cease operation of card programs. The university issued an RFP and analyzed responses to select U.S. Bank as the new service provider for the card programs. 

 

All Spend Authorization processes will remain the same. Prior to September 1, 2023, faculty and staff will be issued new prepaid cards from U.S. Bank and all gift cards will also be issued from U.S. Bank.

 

No action is required from faculty and staff at this time. Cardholders will receive further information.
