Yale Human Resources welcomes new hires – July 2023

Please join us in welcoming the following new hire to our HR community:

Lynda Stallworth has joined the Yale School of Medicine Employee Relations (YSM ER) team as Human Resources Generalist. Lynda will be a central resource and floater for the YSM ER team by aligning HR objectives and initiatives to the business needs across the organization, reporting to Lauren Slater, Assistant Director, Employee Relations. Lynda has over five years of experience in employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance, and comes to us from Indeed where she held the role of Human Resources Generalist. Prior to Indeed, Lynda held various HR roles with TriNet and Stamford Hospital. Lynda has her degree in Human Resources Administration and received her Project Management Certification from the University of Bridgeport.

Paola Ruiz has joined our team as Leaves and Disability Program Manager, reporting to Raina Sorgenti, Associate Director of Benefits. She comes to us from Goodwill Industries of NW North Carolina, where she has been working as a Human Resources Analyst for Leaves and Workers’ Compensation. In this role, she managed Goodwill’s absence programs and their accommodations services. Previously, she held human resources and payroll roles at Kaplan Early Learning Co., Catholic Charities, and Nova Southeastern University, where she earned her master’s degree in human resources management. Paola brings her keen attention to detail, experience in academia, and knowledge of absence management to our team.
