Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

On Sunday, October 15 at Dunkin’ Donuts Park - Yard Goats Stadium in Hartford, CT, the Working Women’s Network (WWN) had the opportunity to participate in this year’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk and raised $1,460.75! Being Well, Office of Diversity & Inclusion, and WorkLife and Childcare co-sponsored a wellness table at the event. Team members included our very own Marinda Monfilston, her daughter Laila, and the Working Women’s Network Co-Chair Nikitia Tillman. Marinda had an opportunity to honor her great aunt, who recently passed away from breast cancer.
