ServiceNow introduces a service request catalog

As we continue to improve the experience of requesting IT services, the IT Service Management group will launch a service request catalog on Thursday, Oct. 26.

With the new Service Request Catalog, you can directly navigate to requests from the main ITS support page and search for what you need. You will no longer need to know the associated service to find the request you need. In addition to finding your requests quicker, the Request Catalog also enhances search capabilities.

Some features include:

  • Directly link to service requests
  • Multiple ways to filter.
    • Automatic Filtering based on your affiliation
  • Easy-to-read card formatting
  • Type-ahead search functionality (begins to search as you are typing search term)
  • Improved search results over time

Individuals with an active NetID may view knowledge article KB0026582 (login may be required) for a preview of screen changes.
