Click with Caution in November – Recognize, Relax, Rethink

November 1, 2023

Thank you for engaging with us during Cybersecurity Awareness Month! We appreciate you attending events, completing puzzles, and sharing our awareness posters within your departments.

We invite you to register and join us for our upcoming events this month:

Thursday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m.: We are excited to welcome Amber Simco from the Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). Part of the Department of Homeland Security, she’ll share tips to stay safe online and ensure Yale data and systems are protected. Register to deepen your cyber know-how.

Thursday, Nov. 9 at noon: Attend Would You Rather, an interactive mindfulness workshop and boost your skills at recognizing red flags, relaxing, and rethinking how you respond to suspicious or unsettling messages. This was so popular when we hosted it in September that we’re doing it again with all new scenarios.

Thursday, Nov. 16 at noon: Attend Anatomy of a Phish: how cybercriminals trick the Yale community. Back by popular demand, join the Yale Information Security Office staff for an informative discussion breaking down the tactics criminals use against us.

We can all be Yale Cyber Heroes – this month and all year long.
