New items added to the Finance Data Model effective Nov. 10

    UPDATE as of November 10, 2023: Due to unforeseen technical issues, updates to the Financial Data Model listed in the Business Update sent Wednesday, November 8th, have been postponed. Once available, a future notification will be submitted through a Business Update communication.

    Effective November 10, 2023, the following new items will be added to the Finance Data Model for the community:

    • FN Fiscal Period Dim
      • New field added to report on quarters
      • Example: FY24-Q1, FY24-Q2, etc.
    • FN Supplier Invoice Header Dim
      • A New Dimension to the Model named ‘FN Supplier Invoice Header Dim,’ which contains various header-level attributes for Supplier Invoice transactions
    • FN Journal Budget Balance Fact
      • New Field to the Journal Budget Balance Fact, named ‘Supplier Invoice Header Invoice Total Amt’
    • Transaction ID field
      • A new field, ‘Transaction ID’ has been created. When selected, this field comprises the Operational Transaction Number + Journal Number fields. If blank, it will return the Operational Transaction field
    • Costing Treatment added in the ‘General Financial – Dept’ perspective
      • A new ‘costing treatment’ field has been added to the ‘General Financial – Dept.’ perspective in the New field added to report on quarters.
    • FY Journal or Budget Description
      • A new column has been created called “FY Journal or Budget Description”. This is a combination of the following fields:
        • Fiscal Year
        • Row Type
        • Ledger Type Description
      • Example: FY23 Actuals, FY19 Obligations, FY24 FBB Q2 Forecast, etc.
    • ‘As of Date’ field
      • ​A new ‘As of Date’ field that displays the date on which the data is loaded in the Finance Data Model. It is an FN load data table (Example: 11/5/2023)
