Procurement performed a mass closure of fully paid purchase orders (POs) on November 13, 2023. This closure applied to fully paid POs with no activity in the past nine months.

If you would like to review a list of the fully paid POs that were closed, run the following Workday report with the criteria listed below.

Workday report:  Find Purchase Orders by Cost Center – Yale

• PO Status = Closed
• Payment Status = Fully Paid
• Last Functionally Updated On or After = Nov 13, 2023
• Exclude Closed = Uncheck box

Mass closure of inactive purchase orders November 16, 2023

Procurement performed a mass closure of inactive purchase orders (POs) on November 16, 2023.

This closure applied to POs dated 15 months prior, had no activity in the past 12 months, and had a PO value of less than $10,000.  Excluded from this mass closure were POs using spend categories for service, asset, MEI, and software. 

If you would like to review the inactive POs that were closed, run the following Workday report with the criteria listed below.

Workday report:  Find Purchase Orders by Cost Center – Yale

• PO Status = Closed
• Document Date= On or before 6/30/2022
• Last Functionally Updated On or After = November 16, 2023
• Exclude Closed = Uncheck box

If a purchase order with infrequent activity was closed and must be reopened, submit a case to the Purchasing Intake Portal to reopen the PO.
