Airgas hazmat fee update

Individuals who purchase through Yale’s vendor, Airgas, will notice an additional hazmat fee added to purchases, per the new contract. View the breakdown of fees in the following table.
| Purchase Type | Fee |

| Hazmat fee per order: | $1.00 - This will show on every delivery invoice as a flat fee per invoice. |
| Delivery charge per cylinder/order: | $6.00 - This will show on delivery invoices per cylinder so you would multiply the # of cylinders delivered by the $6.00. |
| Dry ice - per order: | $6.00 - This will be a flat fee on dry ice delivery invoices per delivery. |
| Hazmat fee for rental cylinders: | $3.00 flat fee - This will only be added to the rental invoices that you receive at the end of every month. It is a flat fee on the invoice, so it will be the same whether you have 1 or 500 cylinders in your lab. Your annual cost for this fee will be $36.00. |
