Please be mindful that absences and timesheets must be reviewed and approved earlier than usual during the months of November and December. The upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays and recess days will have an impact to the normal payroll schedule.

Please also keep in mind Workplace Policies around termination. Paid time off should not be used to extend employment, unless the employee is retiring and the use of paid time off on last day/termination date has been approved by the department. The termination date should not fall on a university holiday/recess day or weekend, if the employee is not scheduled to work.
