Possible action required: TMS retires on Jan. 25

January 24, 2024

Yale’s Training Management System (TMS) will be retired at 5 p.m. on January 25 and replaced by Workday Learning on January 29.

What you need to know:

  • TMS (including access to transcripts of prior training) will no longer be available after January 25.

  • If you have TMS training requirements due for completion between January 25 and January 29 (e.g., for eShipGlobal, etc.), you will need to plan accordingly to complete the required training before January 25; you will not be able to access training until the new system goes live on January 29.

  • Special note for the Yale School of Medicine community:
    • You will be able to continue any Yale Medicine Training and Development courses in Workday Learning from January 25 through January 29.

  • Please be aware that your Workday Learning transcript might not reflect all your completed training from TMS as some past events are not considered training and, thus, are not included. We recommend that you download your TMS transcript before January 25.

  • The launch communication you will receive on January 29 will include details regarding Workday Learning training for Managers and Learners.
