New Workday report: Finance Custom Reports I Can Run – Yale

A new report, ‘Finance Custom Reports I Can Run – Yale’ has been created to help users see their Workday finance reporting inventory in one location. The report will run based on users’ security so that the inventory that populates is unique to their role and access. The report is filterable and sortable based on ‘Report Name’ and ‘Brief Description’ so that users can perform targeted searches to locate the necessary report.

Users can still find reports via the ‘Yale Custom Reports Dashboard.’ The dashboard provides reports broken down by Finance vs. HCM and groups them based on report tags. 

Future enhancements are already in progress regarding the finance reporting inventory. A remediation effort is underway to assess and eliminate reports that are no longer in use. Additionally, as part of this effort, the ‘Report Tags’ field will be reorganized to streamline finance reporting categories. Upon completion, ‘Report Tags’ will be added to ‘Finance Custom Reports I Can Run – Yale,’ allowing for improved filtering and sorting by category.
