Controlled Substance Annual Inventory April 30 - May 5

To All PIs with Controlled Substance Licenses,
 
The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) requires labs authorized to use controlled substances to complete an annual inventory of those substances.
 
This year’s annual inventory will run from Tuesday, April 30, at 5 p.m.through Sunday, May 5, at 5 p.m
 
During this time, please inventory all controlled substances in your laboratory including stock, working solutions, and waste. A visual inspection and recording of each container should be performed at the start or end of the day to avoid mistakes and/or discrepancies.
 
If you do not have any controlled substances in your inventory for the indicated period, you are still required to submit an inventory as an authorized controlled substance license holder.
 
You must log your annual inventory in EHS Integrator. EHS has created a two-minute instructional video on how to submit your annual inventory.
