Workday Learning training notices to resume starting April 1

As of April 1, Workday Learners will receive email notifications for assigned learning in Workday Learning and reminders before the assignment due date 60, 30, and 14 days in advance. Learning assignments are based on your role or your most recent compliance assessment questionnaire responses.

Email notifications will be sent to you for the following types of learning assignments as part of your employment or Yale affiliation.

  • Statutory, Regulatory, or Policy Requirements: All required learning/training, documentation, or certifications that confirm completion of specific knowledge, skills, and abilities per local, state, or federal guidelines
  • Mandated Training: All learning/training mandated by a function’s Authority (e.g., Finance, EHS, etc.) to support the university’s staff’s efficiency and development
  • Recommended Training: Recommended training refers to suggested learning/training from your manager to support your job performance and/or enhance your growth potential

In addition, Workday Learners will receive monthly notifications until you complete past-due learning assignments. To help complete your learning assignments, your manager will also receive notice of the overdue item, followed by notifications to HR Business Partners and Business Office representatives about one week later.
