Enhancement and consolidation of management Budget to Actuals Reports

Effective Wednesday, May 15, 2024, ‘Budget to Actuals for Management Office Reporting – Yale’ and ‘Budget to Actuals for Management Office Reporting by Gift/YD/Fund – Yale will be combined into one report.  The surviving report will be the ‘Budget to Actuals for Management Office Reporting – Yale.’  This report, with far greater usage, has been updated to include the ‘Repeat By’ options from both reports. Additional prompts have also been added to facilitate data filtering as needed.

This consolidation is a result of our ongoing reporting inventory assessment. When numerous reports exist with similar purposes, updating one report usually requires changes to all, which can bottleneck potential enhancements. A decision to use the ‘Budget to Actuals for Management Office Reporting – Yale’ was made after careful consideration. We encourage you to start using this report as your go-to moving forward. However, due to the proximity to fiscal year-end, ‘Budget to Actuals for Management Office Reporting by Gift/YD/Fund – Yale’ will not be retired until after the fiscal close.
