HR reminders for ITS staff and managers – June 2024

As another academic year approaches, ITS managers and staff are reminded to act on the following:

  • Performance reviews: Teams should be well underway with annual review processes, providing opportunities for substantive and meaningful discussions about how to support long-term career goals and FY25 initiatives. Please visit IT’s Performance Management webpage for guidance on setting expectations, mapping IT competencies to ratings, tips on giving and receiving performance feedback, and more.
  • Remote work arrangements: If you are an ITS staff member with a remote work arrangement, review it with your manager to ensure it remains effective. Confirm how you will approach several aspects of your work and career development for continued success in a remote setting. ITS does not plan to re-arbitrate eligibility through this process.
  • Yale University Institutional Standards of Conduct: Please take this time to review the Yale University Institutional Standards of Conduct. This document articulates a set of ethical, legal, and professional standards that govern and guide the everyday actions of members of the Yale community as they contribute to Yale’s mission.
