A message from Chief Ronnell A. Higgins
To the Yale Community,
I write to let you know of a paintball assault that occurred at approximately 11:10 pm in the vicinity of Elm and High Streets. Two Yale undergraduate students were walking in the area when one was struck with a paintball fired from a small light-colored vehicle. No physical injuries were reported. The New Haven Police are investigating. The Yale Police have increased patrols in the area and are working with the New Haven Police to identify those responsible.
