Share Meeting Notes

This new feature, Meeting Notes, is designed to help managers keep their teams informed of university-wide news. We encourage you to share at staff meetings or send via email to your teams.

Healthy Yale videos—To introduce the topic of Yale’s health and safety guidelines in response to COVID-19, consider sharing one of the Healthy Yale videos with your team.

Daily Health Check—All employees approved to report to campus are required to complete a daily health check, which can be accessed through the:

If staff have not complied to this request, managers receive notification and they will direct you to use one of the three options provided to fulfill this request.

Spring Semester—President Salovey and Provost Strobel recently announced that the Spring Semester will begin on February 1, and end on May 7. Staff required on campus will in large part be consistent to the fall. Managers will be informed if additional staff are needed on campus closer to the start of the spring semester. For now, anyone who can work from home should continue to do so.

Working remotely outside of CT—The university asks that you notify your department’s business office if you are teaching or working at least one day per week out of state, and they can assist you with completing a working out-of-state form and updating your work location in Workday. All staff members working outside Connecticut are encouraged to return to Connecticut before January 4, 2021, if possible.  Once you return to work in Connecticut, you again should inform your department’s business office so they can update your work location in Workday.

DUO Everywhere—If you haven’t already done so, staff are asked to opt into DUO Everywhere to secure your Yale online credentials. DUO Everywhere provides multi-factor authentication (MFA) on-campus and off-campus for Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office 365, and the Central Authentication Service (CAS). Opt in via http://mfa.its.yale.edu.
