A message from Chief Ronnell A. Higgins
To the Yale Community,
I write to let you know that a robbery occurred this evening at approximately 6:30 pm in the area of Ashmun and Henry Streets. Four unknown men wearing ski masks approached a male from behind, brandished a handgun and stole an undetermined amount of cash and a bank card. The thieves fled in a newer model Chevrolet Trailblazer or Tahoe toward downtown. No physical injuries were reported. The New Haven police are investigating.
