World Travel replaces Egencia effective May 1

Beginning May 1, World Travel will replace Egencia for all Yale business travel booking needs. World Travel is available for booking travel now. Egencia will be unavailable after May 1.  

Training notices resume in Workday Learning 

As of April 1, email notifications for assigned learning in Workday Learning and reminders before the assignment due date will be sent 60, 30, and 14 days in advance. Learning assignments are based on your role or your most recent compliance assessment questionnaire responses.

Earth Week at Yale (April 22 – 26)

Mark your calendars for Earth Week! Yale is hosting dozens of events in April that examine the challenges posed by climate change and how we can all be part of solutions.

Yale Hunger and Homelessness and Homelessness Action

The Yale Hunger and Homelessness and Homelessness Action Project (YHHAP) is back with their largest fundraiser of the year, the YHHAP Fast! The Fast will take place on April 6, and 100% of the funds raised by this project will go towards supporting four organizations doing critical on-the-ground work to combat food waste, provide residential care, and alleviate food insecurity in New Haven: Haven’s Harvest, Continuum of Care, and Sunrise Cafe. They accept monetary donations via the virtual Fast fundraising page or Venmo, @Yhhap-Yale — please include “Fast” in the description.

Revitalized and Reimagined: Yale Peabody Museum reopens

The Yale Peabody Museum reopened to the public on Tuesday, March 26. The renewed Peabody, which now offers free admission, returns with rejuvenated galleries, reimagined exhibits, and refurbished dinosaurs. Guests can pre-book visits on the Peabody’s website.
