C&T Performance Feedback…what do I do with it?

Your Performance Feedback is complete! Hopefully, you and your manager have had discussions about your continued development—what you are planning to focus on, and what resources will help you to create a learning plan to meet your goals.

The first step in developing a learning plan is to assess what Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities you may need to learn or enhance. These may be skills your manager has suggested you work on in your current role or they may be personal development goals to navigate your career.

The C&T Training and Development website offers tools for assessing your job skills, skills that your manager can help you to determine. Perhaps you are looking to change to a different job family. You can research the duties, business and systems knowledge the job requires, then self-assess to figure out which skills you need to learn or which skills you need to enhance.
Included in the self-assessment are soft skills. These are some of the most coveted skills by hiring managers. Visit the Developing Soft Skills page and explore different LinkedIn Learning collections to move your soft skills from mediocre to excellent.

If you are not having ongoing discussions with your manager about your performance and development, it’s not too late to start now. The C&T Performance Feedback video will explain to you how the feedback process works and how you, along with your manager, can set work goals and development goals for which you have aspirations.

Your personal development is driven by you. Tools in the Career Mobility Planning and Fulfillment guide are designed to help you assess your skills, develop a learning plan, and reach your learning goals!
