REMINDER: On February 28, Secure File Transfer Facility Service will retire

Summary
Yale ITS will retire the Secure File Transfer Facility service (files.yale.edu) on Monday, February 28, 2022.
- Service users will need to use OneDrive or their University email to share new files/messages. See instructions detailed further in the message.
- As of Wednesday, February 23, 2022, files.yale.edu sent files will no longer be retrievable.
- ITS will provide live training on February 16. Details will be sent to service users.
- This service is not related to Managed File Transfer.
Details
To share new files/messages, service users will need to:
- Set up a secure file transfer folder in OneDrive to share files or folders
- Request a file upload from an individual using OneDrive
- Use email to send a secure message when you have sensitive information to share –

- EliApps mail users – EliApps Google Apps for Education: Send and open encrypted emails – IT at Yale (service-now.com)
