We recently spoke with Dr. Sceery about the services she provides to the Yale community. Here’s what she had to say:

Q: Tell us a bit about the service you provide. What are some of the advantages?

A: People come to me for all kinds of things. A lot of my work is around stress management and balancing work life. One of the advantages of scheduling an appointment with me is that it is quick and easy. Typically, you can schedule an appointment within a week. There isn’t as much legwork or energy involved as there might be in searching for a provider. This allows you to get the experience of therapy and see if it could be helpful for you before you find an ongoing provider. Sometimes people are unsure what therapy can offer, and I can help sort through the next best steps. I try to help people think about what changes are important to them and help them find a way to follow through.

Q: How are appointments scheduled? Is my information shared with Yale?

A: The online registration process is quick and easy. You’ll be asked to enter some basic information to create an account the first time you schedule. Subsequently, you can simply log in to view appointment availability and schedule your appointment. I am available Monday through Thursday for virtual or telephonic sessions or in person, by appointment, at 205 Whitney Avenue on Mondays and Wednesdays. This service is confidential, and your information is not shared with Yale.
