Newly opened IT collaboration space

In June, a new collaboration space opened on the fifth floor of 25 Science Park. The newly launched space offers connection and idea-sharing opportunities, from table tennis and Connect 4 to conversation nooks and cozy seating.

Guided by feedback from staff, the IT Business Office sought to create a welcoming, fun, and useful space for IT practitioners across Yale. In fact, the space was recently enhanced to include an A/V Zoom Room cart with a 75” monitor and an electronic whiteboard. 

The first groups to use these activities will be college and high school interns arriving between June and August, IT staff visiting for their anchor week, and picnic attendees (who will enjoy games that will later be added to the collection).

Through August 18, the space will be reserved for college interns sitting in cubicles nearby. To reserve it before they arrive, you can contact Debbie Michelson (debbie.michelson@yale.edu). After that date, the space can be booked in Microsoft Outlook for groups of 15 or more. All visitors are asked to disinfect the space after using it.
