Recognizing recent promotions in ITS

Promotions are a part of our commitment to recognize and motivate exceptional performance, to foster career growth, and ensure organizational success.

During this time of year, many of our staff inquire about the promotion process, and we would like to take this opportunity to highlight that promotions within our department can occur through two primary avenues: 

1. Applying for an Open Higher-Level Position: We encourage our staff to explore growth opportunities by applying for higher-level positions when they become available within the organization. This involves participating in the interview process, which can take place at any time throughout the year when positions become available. 
2. Promotion in Seat: This process requires a formal job evaluation review and typically takes place twice a year (mid-year and year-end) or at any time as part of a re-organization effort.  It is triggered by significant changes in the scope and complexity of the job responsibilities.
