As a staff member at Yale, you are invited to network with your colleagues and stay in touch with campus news and events.
Building a strong network is important to your career at Yale. Make time to connect with your colleagues. Here are a few ideas:
Make a colleague’s day: say “Happy Birthday”, “Congrats”, “Thank You”, and more. Learn more and send a Ycard.
With so many green spaces around campus, pack lunch and connect with a colleague or dine at one of New Haven’s many restaurants or Yale’s dining establishments.
Yale affinity groups are a great way to connect with colleagues. Yale’s special interest groups host social events, career building workshops, volunteer activities, and speaker series, to name a few.
Volunteer for your department’s green team to get to know others who you may not work directly with every day. Other opportunities include helping to host a department-wide United Way fundraising activity or getting involved with a university-wide event such as commencement–to name just a few.
Visit the ITS Secure Computing website to take the interactive online security awareness training, learn how to keep your computers, phone, devices, and data safe.
Explore your community and stay in-the-know with what’s happening on campus. This website features important announcements and tips, and quick access to common resources and tools such as My Time, the Yale Shuttle Schedule, Policies & Procedures, Benefits information and much more.
