New Learning & Development manager series for 2024

December 14, 2023

With the winter recess quickly approaching, IT Learning & Development wants to take the opportunity to bring post-recess events and programming to your attention now.

A new manager’s series is under development in partnership with IT HR Business Partner Kaila Carroll and HR Generalist Katie Cullen. This series will kick off in January with a presentation by Katie Cullen on managing early career staff and the early career programs, followed by three sessions on managing early career staff featuring Sheena Marcus, Leadership Coach & Founder, Sheena Marcus Leadership Coaching & Consulting. Sheena Marcus’s sessions for managers will focus on understanding your team, building connections in a hybrid environment, and exploring team dynamics.

We designed these manager’s series sessions to kick off regular programming while providing more guidance and opportunities to connect with HR, Learning and Development, and each other. The overarching goal of the manager’s series is to create a regular cadence over the year to inform, teach, and connect on topics related to managing and tied to specific times of the year, business processes, and issues that arise in the normal course of work.

Please watch for future invites and communications about this series in the new year, and feel free to email itlearning@yale.edu in the interim with any questions.
