Call for posters for the upcoming One IT conference

    The planning committee for the 2024 One IT Conference (March 20) is excited to invite submissions for poster presentations focusing on the ideas, projects, and data reshaping the landscape of Yale’s academic, clinical, cultural, and research missions through technology. Posters that showcase collaborative efforts across teams and units are especially welcome.

    Theme:

    Advancing Collaboration: One IT as a Catalyst

    Possible topics could include:

    • Digital Teaching and Learning: Pedagogical approaches, learning management systems, virtual classrooms, and innovative use of educational technology
    • EdTech Tools and Solutions: Applications, software, platforms, and tools designed to enhance teaching, learning, and administration at Yale
    • Data Analytics: Using data-driven insights to improve outcomes
    • Innovative Tech Initiatives: Groundbreaking projects, prototypes, or initiatives revolutionizing how technology is used across campus
    • Meet the Team:  Introduce your team to the wider Yale IT community, highlighting your services and people
    • Your Idea Here: Create a poster on any topic you would like to share with your colleagues across the university

    Submission guidelines:

    • Poster presentations should visually and concisely convey key information about your project or research.
    • Submissions should include a brief abstract (250 words max) summarizing the poster content, along with a title and author information.
    • Posters must be in digital format (PDF) and should consider the guidelines provided by Yale Printing and Publishing Services.
    • Please also follow the accessibility guidelines noted in Yale Library’s poster guidance. You may also find their templates useful.
    • The conference planning committee will cover printing and the associated costs if the final posters are submitted NO LATER than the end of the day, March 13, 2024.

    Important dates

    • Submission deadline: EOD, February 20, 2024
    • Notification of acceptance: EOD, February 29, 2024
    • Conference date: March 20, 2024—Poster presentations will be held in the afternoon. 

    Submission process

    Please submit your poster proposal to AdvancingCollaboration@yale.edu by the deadline. All submissions will undergo a peer-review process, and individuals submitting accepted posters will be notified accordingly.
