While with Acts, he served as the Director of Compensation & HR Systems Administration and most recently as Director of Compensation & Performance Management. Chris comes to us with substantial experience in higher education as well, having directed compensation and benefits at Swarthmore College for a brief time after more than a decade at Harvard University serving as the Sr. Compensation Officer. While with Harvard, he was elected three times to the board of directors for the Harvard University Employees Credit Union, one of the oldest and largest in the state. Prior to his time at Harvard, he held several positions in compensation at for-profit organizations. Chris has a Master of Arts (A.L.M.) in Management with a focus in Finance, which he received while at Harvard. He also has an M.S. in Human Resource Development and a B.A. in Psychology from Villanova University. Additionally, he holds a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation from World at Work. For the time being, Chris will be living in New Haven during the week and returning home to his wife Peggy and three children in Ardmore, PA on the weekends.
