Hinge Health is offered to benefit eligible Faculty & Salaried staff enrolled in Yale Health or Aetna plans.

Yale has partnered with Hinge Health, a virtual physical therapy exercise program, to support back, muscle, and joint health. This program is available to you and your eligible dependents (age 18 +) at no additional cost. Hinge Health gives you and your eligible family members the tools you need to conquer back and joint pain, recover from certain injuries, and stay healthy and pain free. Once enrolled in the program, Hinge Health will create a customized digital experience and provide all the tools you need to complete the program. A personalized health coach or physical therapist will help guide you through exercise therapy in the Hinge Health app. Your digital exercise therapy plan can be done from anywhere, and whenever works best for your schedule in Hinge Health’s convenient app. That means never rushing to an appointment, worrying about copays, or obtaining a referral.
