Learning & Development Operating Model

Yale’s new Learning and Development Operating Model was developed to support the functional learning and development needs specific to Yale.

  • This model features 16 functional units providing training that meets quality standards and, over time, builds more learning programs that directly support staff in mastering skills they need to do their jobs and navigate their careers.
  • Each unit has a dedicated Learning Partner to support ongoing staff learning.
  • The model encourages staff to request learning opportunities, which enhances staff experience and makes Yale a desirable place to work because of its investment in professional development.
  • For more assistance, contact learning@yale.edu or complete a Learning & Development Support Intake Form.
