Beginning on Thursday, November 3, Yale students, faculty, and staff can receive free audio-visual (A/V) and information technology (IT) support at a newly established Technology Support Service Center at the Yale School of Medicine’s (YSM) Cushing/Whitney Medical Library. Developed over the last six months by the Technology Support Services group, through collaboration with the Cushing/Whitney Medical Library staff, the new Technical Support Center intends to adapt to the Yale Community’s changing A/V and IT needs.

Hosted by the IT Staff Development team, Yale’s IT Academy consists of a robust speaker series, recommended online training offerings, and learning events to support the professional growth and staff development of Yale’s IT community.
In preparation for the end of the FY18-FY22 IT strategy, IT leaders have been busily recalibrating for the next five years. Through a combination of meetings with individuals across the University, a campus-wide survey, insights from the IT Leadership Council, and a retreat with IT Staff, strategic anchors and associated goals have emerged. The working FY23-FY27 IT strategy will support Yale’s evolving technology needs and the staff who deliver on those needs.
