It’s that time of year again; the ITS performance and merit review process is underway. While feedback should be continuous throughout the year, the formal FY22 process has started and will continue through July.

For M&P staff, reviews inform merit or salary recommendations, while Local 34 team members’ increases are established within their contract. The effective date for merit increases for eligible M&P staff will be July 1, 2022. Please note the following critical dates for this phase of the review process within ITS:

Yale Hospitality is getting ready to launch its latest eatery—Café 25, located in the lobby of 25 Science Park. Science Hill community members may enjoy breakfast and lunch options, including freshly brewed coffee and specialty drinks, homemade pastries, all-day snack varieties, two daily soup options, hot and cold artisan sandwiches (such as grilled cheese, turkey reuben, and more), fresh salads, chips, and daily meal specials (including a sandwich, chips, and a drink).

Café 25 accepts debit or credit cards (cashless) and will be open Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

ITS is preparing to launch a pilot, formally known as the Job Family Classification Redesign and Compensation Reform Project, to strengthen its position as a Workplace of Choice. When the project launches in June 2022, it will replace the current ITS Managerial & Professional (M&P) classification and compensation system with one that ensures ITS is recruiting, managing, and retaining a high performing, well-qualified, and diverse workforce.

In November 2021, five staff members from within and outside of central ITS graduated from the Maximizing Organizational Resources (MOR) program, including Apriel Biggs, Julienne Hadley, Taber Lightfoot, Lucas Swineford, and Leonard Welch. They represent the seventh cohort from Yale IT to complete this immersive year-long coaching and leadership training experience, which offers both professional development and networking opportunities with participating IVY+ colleagues.
